Multiple Tables - Joining Data into a Report

I run a sports league. I have created a database to track athletes results throughout the season. The tables I created are:

Athlete
Event Type
Results

The Athlete table is stand alone data.
The Event Type table is also stand alone data.
The Results Table is linked to both the event type and the athlete.

I would like to show results for the season by aggregating the individual athlete results by event type.
