Number field in source table changes to unusable field type in target table (in different bases)

Hello all,

I created a second base where I use a synced table from the source base.
This synced table had some percent fields that seemingly switched to some other type of value (looking same but it is not standing on the right side in the box but in the left side - similar as text does).

Now I cannot do any calculations with this synced percent value anymore.

Result is always #ERROR!, even when I try to use the “value()” command.

What am I doing wrong?

PS: also decimal numbers in the source field lead to the same issue. Just tested it.
