Open url button opens a new tab

The open url button field you can create always opens a new tab, and i don't want it to do that, is there any way i can modify the formula so it doesn't open a new tab? I can make a script field instead that stops this but i really don't want to spend any more time on this.

I'm looking to do the same thing. I have the button passing on a webhook to integromat but it keep opening a new tab upon pressing the button. I just want it to pass on the information without opening a new tab. Have you found a solution to this as of yet?

Yes i was able to solve it.

In my case i was spesifically working on a website using SvelteKit, what i had to do is use a server sent type form instead.

I'm using Maker (integromat) and Twilio. The button is doing exactly what I need it to do, except for the darn new tab popping up. I tried integrating with Softr and their button does the same thing. So frustrating!

You can press ALT while pressing the button. it works !
