I have a base containing projects (projects table), each project will have tasks assigned to collaborators (tasks table).

The tasks number about 30 and do not differ between projects. At the moment I add a new project, then add 30 tasks manually, settting task type from a lookup table.

I’m sure there’s a way to make this work better (without resorting to say Zapier)

Hi @Dave_Shepherd and welcome to Airtable Community :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

This question greatly depends on your other fields and requirements.

Here are few thoughts/suggestions for now.

Assuming that each task is done by a different collaborator and that each collaborator doesn’t necessarily do the same task each time, you could set something up like this so that you essentially end up with a chart

This setup would look organized on this sheet, but would get very messy on the Collaborator sheet.

Depending on the number of projects that you have at any given time, you could flip this chart around and put the tasks along the side and hide the projects as they become inactive.
