Setting up Work and Date Columns similar to MS Project

Hello Community,

Pretty fresh user here and my background is with MS Project. I’m looking for suggestions on how best to create a “Work” column similar to what you get out of the box with MS Project. What I’ve done thus far is just create a Number column. The problem with that is it isn’t linked to a “Level of Effort” and/or “Duration” column, which means it can’t inform/auto schedule dates for me. For what it’s worth, I do have blockers turned on with everything linked to a predecessor.

Which leads me to my second problem…how can I auto schedule my dates without having to set every task manually?

To simplify, I’m looking for feature parity with MS Project where I can simply add in my Work and then automagically it provides the duration and schedule for me.
