Hi. I'm just getting started on airtable and I want information on my form builder in my dropdown menu to show on the actual form. When in the form builder it shows the first and last name plus other info such as status and email addresses but on the actual form when I click on the same field it only shows me the first name. Is there a way to change this? I'm trying to change it from the second photo to the first photo on the actual form. Screen Shot 2023-11-14 at 4.57.22 PM.pngScreen Shot 2023-11-14 at 4.57.59 PM.png

Unfortunately, that is not natively possible with Airtable's forms. Airtable's forms will only show you the primary field.

You could change your primary field to be a formula field that includes everything that you want to see, but that can get pretty unwieldy.

Otherwise, your best bet is to use Fillout’s advanced forms for Airtable.

Fillout is 100% free, and it is the most advanced form software available for Airtable today. It does exactly what you want, and hundreds of other advanced features that aren’t natively available in Airtable’s forms. It even lets you add & edit new linked records with a form as well, it lets you update Airtable records with a form, and so much more.

Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld

Hi there!

With the form we created at miniExtensions to integrate seamlessly with Airtable, you can display more fields in the preview when linking records in the actual form. You also have control over which fields to preview and in what order.

Here’s an example of how the record picker looks for my wildlife table:
