Hi Airtable Community,

I am working on a table and I would like for the first column to be sorted in alphabetical order (A --> Z), but when I do this the whole column erases. However, when I do (Z --> A) it does work. Could you please help me out but telling me how to sort the column (A --> Z)?

Additionally, Is there any way I can have two different field types applied to the same column? For example, if I want to have both long text and multi-select on the same column and be able to pick which field type I want to use for each cell of that specific column.

I would highly appreciate your help and I am looking forward to hearing back from you soon!

Thank you,

Yael

Your entire column didn’t erase… it’s just showing you the empty values first, which appear before the alphabet starts.

Each column can only be one field type.
