Synced Tables Are Not in Sync

My source table has 3 less records than the synced table. What are possible causes and how do I find the extra records in the synced table.

You may have turned on the sync option to keep deleted records in the destination table after those records are deleted from the source table.

Thanks, but no cigar. I should have mentioned that I had checked that setting.
