Timeline based on ages, not calendar dates

I would like to create a timeline to show at what ages children might be expected to master certain skills, such as “Riding a bike w/o training wheels…age 6,” etc. Obviously, building it by calendar dates will not work, as it is for any child, not one specific child. What are the best ways to go about building such a timeline?

Why not create.a table with a “Year” column which would be 6, 7, 8, 10, etc and then the skill.

So
SKILL StartAge
Ride a bike. 6
Buy a car. 16
Get married. 30
Pay student loans 40

Now you can do a lookup to the age for.a given child based on their age.
