When i expand a record in a view, the fields are shown in the same order as the view except for the hidden fields. Those are always (i think) moved to the bottom of the form. This behaviour is not welcome some times. For exemple, when i group records by some field i usually hide grouping field column in the view, but usually want to see it as the first field in the expanded record form. What i suggest is that the expanded record form follows the order of the fields in the “hide fields” menu (the one at the right of the view name). In that menu anyone can easily reorder all the fields including those that are hidden by dragging and dropping them.
