Is there an option to only edit a record in expanded view only?
I'm getting issues where people are accidentally editing a record by mistake and not knowing about it.
I'd like for the main view to be in view/non edit mode only and only allow change in expanded view.

This feature is available with Airtable's Interfaces, but not with the normal Data views.

Hi @BRS,
You can just do this within interfaces - you have a lot more flexibility with them compared to the main Airtable UI. You can add permissions, choose to make data view-only but with the option to expand details, you can make record details editable or not, and you can decide whether to add records from the interfaces. I suggest switching to interfaces for user related dashboard/views to achieve all the functionality you are looking for
I hope this helps!
