Hello Airtable Community,
I am working on a project where I have three tables in Airtable:
- Trip Table: Contains all possible trips a participant can go on.
- Participant Table: Includes a multiple linked record field for trips that a participant is signed up for.
- Trip Junction Table: Holds individual records showing a participant and the single trip they are on.
I am facing a challenge with setting up an automation. My goal is to automatically create a record in the "Trip Junction" table when a participant adds another trip to their account.
Here's the scenario:
- When a participant selects a new trip in the "Participant" table, I want a new record to be created in the "Trip Junction" table that links this participant with the newly selected trip.
However, I am unsure how to set up this automation, especially how to identify the newly added trip and trigger the creation of a new record in the "Trip Junction" table.
Could anyone provide insights or guidance on how to set up this automation? Any tips on how to identify the newly added trip in the automation setup would be especially helpful.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
