Hello all. Airtable newbie here. I’ve set up a base to manage clients/projects. I have a table for projects, a table for tasks (linked to projects), and a table for clients (linked to the other two tables). We have freelancers that are assigned to certain projects. My question are:
NOTE: I’m using the free version
- do I set the freelancers up as collaborators? Or do I create a list of “team members”, link to the appropriate column in tasks, and assign them there?
- If as collaborators, does this mean that the individuals will be able to view/receive notifications to projects for which they’re NOT assigned?
At the end of the day, I want to assign freelancers to certain projects and only have them receive notifications for those projects. This was the issue we had with the previous tool we tried using. Everyone received all notifications for every project and eventually they just starting tuning out.
