I have created a table with team member names and created a picklist for their timezone in another column. I want to show the current local time for that timezone in the Current Time column. I have read through many posts on this topic and set my table up using the formula suggested in one article, but cannot seem to get this to work.
The formula in the Current Time column is: DATETIME_FORMAT(SET_TIMEZONE(NOW(),{TZ}) ,‘LT’)
TZ relates back to the column with the Time Zone pick list.
I have two issues:
- the time is 5 hours off for the 1st and 2nd rows (must be using UTC, but how do I change?)
- the time is not updating based on the information in the TZ column
