I am trying to create some asset management system, and having a play with Airtable to see if i can get the functionality we need
I have a table of Tools
I have another table with Field Work, with a start and end date. they are linked together with a link field where people can select which tools will be going on that job.
I need to make sure there is some way of flagging a conflict if a tool is assigned to a record on the same dates.
this flagging can be either a notification/flag, or refusal to assign tool, i dont mind as long as the users can see that their is a tool conflict
Can anyone help with a way to automate this? or a different way to go about it?
