Automating Record Updates and Email Notifications Using and Airtable

Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to set up an automated workflow using and Airtable and need some help.

Here's the process I'm looking to automate:

  1. A user fills out a form on, providing their email, name,
  2. The form submission is collected in an Airtable base. - Table users
  3. Upon the new record creation in Airtable, I want to automatically assign a code to the person. - I have list of all coupons in second table named Coupons
  4. After the code is assigned, an automated email should be sent to the user with their assigned code.

I believe I need to use Airtable's Automations feature to achieve this, but I'm struggling with updating the record with the assigned code.

The problem I'm encountering is that when I'm trying to update a record, I'm getting the whole list of records in one cell, which is not what I want.

Has anyone implemented a similar workflow or can provide guidance on how to achieve this? 

Any advice or detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated!
