Several of my automations send emails, inevitably I get some bad email addresses and will get a notification in AirTable of a bad email address. Is there a way to incorporate these notification into my automations to alert the person entering information of the bad email?

My use case:

Hosts are entering Guest information, I want to send an email to the Host that they entered a bad email address automatically.

Thanks,

Tommy

As far as I am aware, there is no way to trap for errors in Airtable's automations. As far as I know, your only 2 options are to: (1) write your own Javascripts to handle this, or (2) use Make for your automations. Make has error handlers where you can do certain things if any error occurs, such as a bad email. There can be a bit of a learning curve with Make, which is why I created this basic navigation video for Make. And, if you need help triggering an automation instantly in Make, check out this post.
