Yeah, it’s really crazy that Airtable gives us absolutely no control over resubscribing to those extremely important emails. Your only hope might be to contact support@airtable.com about this.
This is also another great reason to outsource your automations to Make’s advanced automations for Airtable. You won’t run into the same problems there.

As a workaround, you could try making the automation send to another email address and setting up a filter on that account to auto-forward it to your main email; over engineered as heck but should work heh
Editing to confirm that this is something Airtable support can handle! We just need to open a support ticket and include a link to the base we need to receive emails from and they can sort it out
