Hi All…

Is there anyway to update airtable record via excel attachment (sent via email in Gmail)?
So the flow is:

  1. I received an email. In the email, there is an excel (.xlsx) attachment.
  2. I need to add new airtable records based on the data in the excel.

Is there anyway to do this?
Thank you.

If you’re trying to add new records to an existing table, you can export the records as a CSV file and then use the CSV Import app to import the records into your table:

If you’re trying to automate the process of automatically checking your email, then automatically downloading the XLSX attachment, then automatically importing the spreadsheet’s rows into your Airtable table, that can be pretty tricky to setup, but it can be accomplished with Make.com.

If you have a budget for your project and you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant and Make Expert to help you create this, please feel free to contact me through my website at scottworld.com.
