I am building a client portal.
The journey starts on Fillout where the clients will answer questions based on the service they want
All the answers will be saved on an within a "Response" table on airtable
I added this Response table to the Softr's client portal template which includes other tables such as Projects, Tasks, Company, Users, etc
Now in order to build a new client portal I'd have to manually enter relevant records into such tables, which can be time consuming
What I'd like to happen is:
After grabbing/analysing all the replies within the Response table either have a button or an automation that allows me to pass the relevant data to the different tables eg
Add email details to Users table
Add company names details to Company table
Add client details to Projects table
In order to then have pre-populated data for the actual client portal.
Hope I am making sense but happy to do a loom video or zoom call if needed
Thank you all!

If I were you I'd try:
1. Create a checkbox field in the "Response" table called "Reviewed" or some such
2. Have an automation that'll trigger when "Reviewed" is checked, and have 3 create record actions it it that'll create the records in each of the tables you mentioned with the appropriate data stamped in, and linked to the "Response" record

@TheTimeSavingCo thank you for this, will test it out and see what happens

Try using Fillout Forms to create linked records for you

Hey there, seems like you could do with some linked record fields, as Hairtable already suggested above. You could add a user with a form and then have the user link their company and project as linked record fields. That way you'd have all the data in the correct tables right away and it would all be linked together properly. Our miniExtensions Form offers this functionality out of the box with minimal configuration required. You can try it out now with a free account to see if it might fit your use case!
Once the data is in Airtable, you could also use our portal extension to then manage the data with your team, without the need for everybody to have an Airtable account!
