I would like to take data from airtable to put on pdf template or a template to be emailed out eventually via zapier outlook intergration

Which 3rd party company is the best to integrate with zapier and airtable.  Documint, Formstak, PDF Monkey etc?

I like DocsAutomator, free tier has automation scripts and 20 docs a month: https://www.docsautomator.co/

@jzeller

Are you talking about a PDF form template, or a website form that your users fill out? Or both?

For a website form that your users fill out and then it turns into a PDF based on a PDF template, the best form app to do this with is Fillout’s advanced forms for Airtable.

Fillout is 100% free, and this is one of the hundreds of advanced features that is built into the app.

As soon as the user submits the form, Fillout will add the data to Airtable, it will automatically create a PDF based on a PDF template that you provide, it will email it to your users, and it will attach it to an Airtable attachment field as well. So Fillout is your all-in-one stop… it does it all.

However, if you’re just talking about filling out PDF form templates based on Airtable data that already exists in Airtable, then I recommend one of the following options. (See list below.)

Note that I would not use Zapier… I highly recommend using Make’s advanced automations & integrations for this instead of Zapier. Make is INFINITELY more powerful & customizable than Zapier, yet it is SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER than ZapierI wrote an entire post here comparing Make vs. Zapier.

1. One of the most popular PDF creation tools for Airtable is DocuMint. DocuMint has an Airtable extension and also offers full Make support.

2. Another popular tool is Docs Automator.

3. Formstack Documents also has an Airtable extension and also offers full Make support.

4. However, you can choose any PDF form filling app or PDF creation app that you would like — such as the very versatile PDFfiller.com — and completely automate the PDF creation process by using Make’s automations & integrations. You can even use good old fashioned Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel.

If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is how you would instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable.

Hope this helps!
