Linked Record Automations

Hello, Airtable community!

I'm looking for help with automation and linked records.

I have an editable list record on an interface page that allows users to create a record in a specific tasks table, which has various linked records.

I've managed to successfully set and run automation to set the user to match whoever creates the record.

However is it possible to create an automation to update the project ID so it's associated with the record ID of the interface that they're in? Effectively updating the record that's just been created and linking it to the project that the task was created for. 

Currently, they can select - but I'd like it to auto-populate.
