Hey Everyone,

As someone who was previously using a lot of Airtable to Airtable automation through Zapier I jumped on the new built in Airtable Automation features. However I’m now having issues where I can’t create any new automations due to exceeding the maximum number of automations for the base. I can’t find any information on what the maximum amount actually is or if there is an option to increase this.

I love this feature but I’m now at a dead end where I can’t use it further, I can’t see how to increase my usage and I can’t see how much this has been exceeded by.

Any help from the community or from the Airtable team is greatly appreciated.

I have seen this constraint in actual failed processes as recent as last week. So, I believe it still exists unless the timing of those failures were slightly ahead of a change in the platform.

I’ll bet it still stands but has been removed from the logs because it was so difficult for users to understand the context.

Good to know.

I just recently canceled by Zapier subscription thinking that AT can now handle all of my automations. Then today I hit my limit. I was totally unaware that there was a limit. This is really disappointing and it puts my use of AT in limbo. And I have an enterprise account! I am going to have to think of janky workarounds which will compromise everything I have built in AT over the past 3 years.

Good news, they’ve finally given us a bit of a breather on this:

Hi all - I hope your week is off to a great start. Wanted to share an exciting update from the Airtable team that as of today default automation limits have been increased from 25 to 50 automations :tada:

This will be fully rolled out today. If you aren’t seeing the changes, make sure to clear your cache.

I also wanted to share that the team is beta testing the ability for the community to subscribe to the Airtable What’s New base so that you can stay up to date as documentation is published, or in the case that a formal announcement about a feature is not shared. You can opt-in here and if you have feedback for the team on how to make this more useful, here is the best place to share it. We hope this is helpful in keeping everyone up to date and look forward to hearing your thoughts.
