Hello! one of the recipients of the marketing email unsubscribed by mistake.

As i understand the mail was blacklisted in base

Now he wants to restore the subscription

Is it possible to manage in Base or by user

Sincerely,

Kirill

Unfortunately, this is one of the biggest problems with Airtable. It gives you absolutely no way to manage that unsubscribe list nor re-subscribe that person to the list.

It’s really one of the most poorly thought-out things in Airtable.

You MIGHT gain some success by emailing support@airtable.com to see if they can fix the problem for you by getting this person back on the email list.

However, the ONLY long-term solution for this is to NEVER — under any circumstance — use Airtable’s “Send Email” automation action to send your emails.

Instead, you should ONLY use Airtable’s Gmail or Outlook actions to send your emails, or even better, you can use Make’s advanced automations and integrations to send your emails through Gmail, Outlook, or any email service that you’d like. You can even integrate Make with email marketing platforms such as MailGun, MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.

If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is one of the ways that you could instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable.

Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld

I'm afraid it's not possible to manage it in the base.  You'll need to ask them to open a support ticket with Airtable and to include a link to the base they need to get the emails from.  Once they do that Airtable support will sort it out for them!

Hey @kirill_p!

Do you think. you could provide further context on (i) how is the base structured, (ii) what fields you have on your table for subscriptions, (iii) what makes for an active subscriber, and most importantly (iv) whether your base is integrated to a third party email marketing tool?
