Can Airtable pull social media engagement metrics?

I have a list of companies I need to keep an eye on. Is it possible to have an updated twitter follower count daily with only the twitter link of these companies? I have been searching everywhere but I cannot seem to find an answer.

Twitter has a public API, so whatever they allow you to track with their API is what you can track in Airtable.

Do you have coding skills? If so, you can tap into the Twitter API by writing your own custom .JavaScripts or by using an API tool like DataFetcher.com.
