Airtable was founded on the belief that software shouldn’t dictate how you work—you should dictate how it works. Our mission is to democratize software creation by enabling anyone to build the tools that meet their individual needs - and community plays an essential role in helping to realize that mission.

The Airtable Community is a place for creators to learn, share, connect, and get inspired; regardless of experience, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, nationality, or other defining characteristics.

This Community Code of Conduct applies to all Airtable community spaces, including discussions, forums, and in-person events. By seeking to attend or attending an event in any capacity (general attendee, sponsor, exhibitor, media, partner, staff, or team member), you agree to abide by this Community Code of Conduct at all Airtable official and related unofficial social events and to cooperate with the event organizers.

Be respectful

The topics discussed here are important to us, and we hope they’re important to you too. When interacting with others, please remember that there’s a real person on the other side of the screen. Speak to them online as you would if you were face to face. A community where members feel anything less than respected is not a productive one. Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.

Share your knowledge and ask questions

Every creator has value to add and we encourage you to share your expertise with others. Also please don’t hesitate to direct your questions here — chances are someone else has the exact same question.

Assume positive intent

Everyone’s at a different stage of their journey: please lead with kindness and assume that each person you’re interacting with has the Community’s best interests in mind.

Search for understanding

Airtable is an infinitely flexible product that is used in an infinite number of ways, so just because something does (or doesn't) work for you doesn't mean it will be the same for someone else. Approach disagreements or differing opinions with curiosity and ask questions to understand other points of view.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion

Individual strengths and experiences are what bring communities to life. We expect our community to proactively practice allyship, and be open to learning how to cultivate an inclusive environment. We want everyone to feel celebrated for bringing their full self to the conversation.

Give credit where credit is due

Everyone's work is valuable and deserves to be recognized. If something you’re sharing was inspired by someone else’s work, make sure you are giving appropriate attribution and share your gratitude with that individual. Any plagiarized content will be removed immediately.

Reporting a Code of Conduct Violation

If you believe someone has violated the Airtable Community Code of Conduct, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at support@airtable.com. If you are unsure about if the incident is a violation, we still encourage you to let us know and we will ensure appropriate action is taken, even if that means no action. All reports will remain confidential, but if you have concerns about retaliation please make sure to note that in your report.

For online spaces:

This Code of Conduct applies to all Airtable-owned spaces, but if you are being harassed by a member of the Airtable community elsewhere, please let us know. In general, Airtable reserves the right at any time to take actions not consistent with this policy in circumstances that Airtable believes to warrant such action.

We have zero tolerance for any of the following:

  • Conduct that might be considered sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or otherwise discriminatory or offensive in nature
  • Sexualized language and unwelcome sexual advances
  • Violent language or images
  • Disrespect toward differences of opinion
  • Public or private harassment of any kind
  • Trolling, insulting comments, and personal or political attacks
  • Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without permission
  • Sustained disruption of discussion
  • Publicly sharing information explicitly intended to be private
  • Advocating or encouraging any of the above behavior
  • Community Terms

These Airtable Community Guidelines, as updated by Airtable from time to time, are subject to Airtable’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and govern your use of the Community. As a member of the Airtable Community, you will not (and you will not allow your users or any third party to) use the Community for any purpose that is fraudulent or otherwise tortious, or unlawful. You will not reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works of, sell, rent, lease, loan, timeshare, distribute or otherwise exploit any portion of (or any use of) the Community. In addition, you represent and warrant that you will be responsible for the accuracy, completeness, quality, and legality of any information you provide in connection with the Community, including registration information, the means by which you acquired such information, and your use of such information in connection with the Community. Your first name, last name, profile picture, location, and other information you provide in connection with the Community, including registration information, may be publicly displayed, including on any profile page or in connection with your activities.
