We're building a decision-making helper tool on Airtable to reduce the number of meetings at work. For each topic that requires discussion, we intend to have people use a dedicated Airtable interface. On it, someone creates the topic to be discussed and then assigns the relevant participants to it. Later on, the assigned participants weigh in on the topic.
The screenshot below displays a list of the decisions to be discussed and of the positions taken by people. Hierarchy on this page is turned on, with topics being on Level 2 and positions on Level 1.
As of now, new topics can be created with a short form that opens up when clicking a button, while positions can be created inline. But for the interface to be as simple to use as possible, we would like to make it possible for both decisions and positions to be added inline. We couldn't figure out how to do that, though.
Do you know if that's possible?
