is there a way to get rid of that irritating warning that pops up in an interface when an action i am taking will hide the record from the view? the whole point of my action is to hide the record from my view. as it is, i have to click off of the record and select a new record to make it go away.

That warning cannot be disabled. But you may want to email support@airtable.com to request it as a feature.
However, as a good workaround, you could make it so that your users can only edit the records by zooming into the detail screen (instead of the list screen). Then, the warning won't pop up, because when they close the details screen, the record will already be gone from the list.
Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld
