In the dedupe block, is there a way to reorder the fields in the table?

My team uses the dedupe block quite a bit. When we open the block, the fields are displayed in a random order. They do not appear in the orderI have them in my table, nor are they in alphabetical order. It would make more sense if they appeared in the same order as they are in the table. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance for your help!

I’m afraid there isn’t a way to change the order. It’s not actually random. It’s based (as far as I can tell) on the order the fields were created. Even if they get shifted around, their creation order is internally maintained somewhere, and it appears that this creation order is what drives their listing in the Dedupe block (and possibly others). I can see how maintaining the order from a certain view would be useful, though. I suggest creating a request in the #show-and-tell:product-suggestions category (after a search to see if such a thread already exists). I could also move this thread into that category if you prefer.
