Linking Table to Excel File on PC

Not sure if I am using the right terminology but…
I want make a link (term?) to an Excel file on our company network drive. I just want to hit link and have Excel file open. No plans to load data into Airtable (at this time).
This file is update regularly by various users who sign into our company system.
