search functionality

i see in the help docs that search functionality only works in the grid view, but i see that it also doesn't seem to work when said grid view is grouped. yes, i know airtable wants me to add an extension for this function to work...that makes me shift gears and get out of the interface i'm in.

problem is, i am trying to perform a search on my phone with grouped records. can't also figure out how to collapse all groups on the phone interface?

does anybody else find this weird?

Hm, if I have the field not hidden, I'm able to search for that value on both desktop and mobile actually

Hm I couldn't see how to do this either; hopefully someone else has an idea!

it seems to be related to the grouping functionality which is very strange...the field is definitely there!
