Split Multiple Choices in List View

Does anyone have guidance on how to split multiple choices into list view? For example, I use Airtable to track participants for trainings we offer and in some cases participants will take more than one of our trainings. When I group in list view by training, it is pulling and sorting these participants into a new category rather than just having them show up in both individual training lists.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks!

That is a more challenging setup.

To do this, you would need to restructure your database as a “many-to-many relationship”, which is a more complicated type of relationship that requires 3 tables (instead of 1 table or 2 tables) for your record linking.

You can read more about many-to-many relationships in Airtable’s support document here.

p.s. If your company has a budget for this project and you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you set this up, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld
