Additionally, is there a way to use the european number notation? ("," for decimals, “.” for thousands)

Jon: There’s some support for non-English languages in certain parts of Airtable; e.g. you can use the SET_LOCALE()
function to format dates using specific language options. However, I don’t know if there’s a comprehensive list of all language-specific features. Is there something specific you’re looking for?
Lorenzo: At this time there isn’t support for alternate currency separators. The only option is to create custom formatting using one or more formulas. If you’d like to see native options for things like separators, currency symbol placement, etc., feel free to show your support here:
