Does anyone know how to save multiple documents into a single attachment field in Airtable. My experience has been that when you insert a document, you can only do one at a time. And if you update the attachment field, it will overwrite the existing document.
Any suggestions?

When you update an attachment field with Integromat, it gives you the ability to add multiple attachments.
For the 1st attachment, map the URL portion of the pre-existing attachment field (to retain the existing attachments).
For the 2nd attachment, map the new URL (to add a new attachment).

But how do you handle it when there are a variable number of attachments saved in an array?

It should work the same way. If not, then use the Array Iterator and/or Array Aggregator modules to achieve the results you’re looking for.
