Hey,
I want to create a link inside my long text field with rich text formatting enabled by zapier.
But when I write
[Airtable](https://airtable.com)
in Zapier I donāt see the Link as a hyperlink. I just see the text:

For the sake of completeness
Quick Update, after futher testing
Finally links are working for me in Integromat / Zapier
Only thing you need to do, put the reference in a new lineā¦

Itās not Zapier thatās the problem - you are specifying a markdown format that Airtable is incapable of interpreting as a link. Read this thread.

Sorry, I still donāt get it.
Why is Airtable writing here, I can put in the Links by markdown (or whatever airtable is doing here):
Markdown syntax for Airtable rich text formatting
Rich text in Airtable is based on on a variation of Markdown, a lightweight and readable syntax for formatting. You can use Markdown in the following areas in Airtable: Base descriptions Long text...
But itās clearly not working for me, even when I use the example given by airtable?
ANd How do I do it with zapier? Is it not working with zapier at all?

Okay - try using the alternative āmarkdownā syntax Iāve shown.
It worked for me and Iām simply making the observation ā documentation aside ā how I was able to get it to work when instantiating links in long-text fields using markdown-like syntax.

I typically recommend using Make's automations & integrations instead of Zapier.
The reason for this recommendation is because Make is INFINITELY more powerful & customizable than Zapier, yet it is SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER than Zapier.
I wrote an entire post here comparing Make vs. Zapier.
Make has a great markdown to HTML module which lets you convert Airtable's rich text fields into HTML, so you can insert that HTML into emails or any other place where you need clickable links.
Take a look at the screenshot below for how easy this would be to setup in Make. (If youāve never used Make before, Iāve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread.)
Hope this helps! If youād like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant ā ScottWorld
