It feels like the Grouping functionality in Airtable is limited in its usefulness. Grouping records by a given field makes some of my tables โVisuallyโ more structured, however, the rollup field type could benefit from having some additional formulas that can logically recognize a grouping of records.
There are analytical functions available already, where you can select, AVG, SUM, and MAX, etc for a particular grouping, but no way to access the result of these values in formulas.
What would be great is if there was some way I could label/identify a particular group of records and access aggregate data from these groupings somehow.
