Quickly View/Change Filter Criteria

I want to be able to configure certain views so that I can quickly type in a different filter condition.

I.e. for a particular view, I want to be able to “pin” a filter input box so that it appears in the top menu without me having to click and open up the whole filter panel. Here’s a mockup:

I want this because I have a few views where I regularly use the filter to isolate a specific record or set of records by typing in a deal number or company name. A feature like this would end up saving me a lot of clicks!

Just as a side note; you can use this shortcut to toggle the filter option:
