Reference Tables

It would be really helpful to have access to the reference tables that are used to store data in single select fields, so that you could use the same reference data for single select cells in other tables within the same base rather than having to replicate entries manually

Just create a table and then use linked records field type instead.

I agree that this would be a very welcome feature in Airtable. Airtable currently has no concept of values being different than data, which leads to many roadblocks throughout the product. But hopefully, they will change this in the years ahead.

Thanks - I did set out doing that initially, creating a table for reference data, its just that some features like Kanban stacking for example only works on single select fields - a workaround does limit usability. If the data is stored anyway, would make sense to access and reuse those tables.
