The use of , and . is different between US and Europe, so its crazy to import a .csv or .xls

I am extremely suprised that this is not implemented. Seems like a no brainer to me, not being able to select a default date format leads to so much confusion. I urge any Airtable Product Manager that’s prioritizing this to simply try having European style dates on staging for a week or so.

Hi Andrew, it has been 5 years since this community has been requesting European formatting options.
We need currency and decimals to be 1.000,00 €.
That should not be so hard to implement.

You’re right Byron. Something which should be such a small issue, lasts already years. Getting tired changing all formats in excel before uploading them. Reason why I’m trying other software now in the meanwhile in which American format is not the only one…
