One thing I’ve long dreamed of is a database that can interact with spreadsheets. Add them as attachments, open them from within the database, get data from and put data in certain fields.
It would be a simpler way to do some calculations.
As far as report printing goes, even that could be done as an A4 spreadsheet.

I got this might be a bit long time for you to still need it but we developed a spreadsheets add-on which allows to link Airtable table to spreadsheet sheet. It has hourly automatic re-sync and manual re-import capabilities.
