I am always looking at roadmap software and the prices are astronomical because of their product depth but airtable users just need a basic functionality

No. I’m saying roadmap feature is a basic functionality for Project management Tool.

But Airtable don’t build it .

What makes you think Airtable is a tool for Project Management? Some of its capabilities make it possible to do things like managing tasks, but PM is so much more. I don’t think Airtable aims to cover the area. It is obviously a more generic tool.
