I have had to do this as well-- really frustrating for the browser version to essentially force an application download instead. Hopefully, Airtable will make sure all versions are accessible and functional soon 

This is currently happening to me and making Airtable unusable. Commenting for a boost and to follow the thread to see if any solutions arise.
