Hello,

The issue you’re facing suggests a configuration or permission problem during the Airtable OAuth connection setup in Make.com (formerly Integromat). Here are steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Ensure Airtable API Key or Personal Access Token Is Set Up
Legacy API Key: If you're using an API key:
Go to your Airtable account.
Copy your API key.
Use the API key in your Make.com connection setup.
Personal Access Token: If you've moved to Airtable's new access token system:
Go to Airtable Developer Hub.
Create a token with access to the required bases and scopes.
Copy the token and use it during setup.
2. Validate Make.com Connection Configuration
In Make.com, when adding a new Airtable connection, check:
Name the Connection: Provide a meaningful name.
Token or API Key Field: Enter the correct API key or token here.
Base Access: Ensure the token has access to the specific bases you intend to use.
Confirm that all required fields are filled.
3. Fix the "Base Error Value Must Not Be Empty"
This error typically means Make.com is trying to retrieve base information but can't find any linked bases. Ensure:

Base Exists: The Airtable base you want to connect to is not deleted or archived.
Permission Issues: Ensure the account or token you're using has read/write permissions for the base.
Base Name/ID Accuracy: Double-check the exact base you're linking to. You may need to manually specify the base ID in the Make.com scenario.
4. Test Airtable and Make.com Connectivity
In Make.com, try re-authenticating your Airtable connection:
Go to Connections.
Select or delete the problematic Airtable connection.
Re-add it, ensuring you authenticate with valid credentials or tokens.
Ensure your Airtable account is linked and accessible through the correct workspace.
5. Check for Specific Errors in Make.com
If you're using a module that interacts with Airtable, ensure:
Input Fields Are Complete: Check if you're required to specify a table, field, or base directly in the module.
Valid Data Is Being Passed: Make sure no fields are empty or invalid in your scenario configuration.
6. Enable Debugging in Make.com
Use Make.com's Scenario Log:
Run the scenario in Make.com.
Check the error logs for more detailed messages about what went wrong.
Review the error's exact source for more clarity.
7. Review Airtable API Limits
Airtable enforces API limits (e.g., 5 requests per second per base). Ensure your scenario isn't exceeding these limits, as it might disrupt connection initialization.

Additional Steps
If the above doesn’t resolve your issue:

Try a Different Browser or Device: Sometimes, cached data can interfere with OAuth flows.
Contact Make.com Support: Provide detailed logs or screenshots of the error message.
Check Airtable API Status: Ensure there are no outages on Airtable's side by visiting their status page.
Best Regards
