When Checked start timer to uncheck

I am looking for a way to check items off the list.
Once checked they are no longer on my list.
When they are checked wait 3 months and automatically uncheck them.
Now they show up in my list again after the 3 month time period.

The closest thing I found was a question from 2 years ago and the answer wasn’t helpful. I am hoping after 2 years someone has figured out a way to do this.

Two years ago Airtable didn’t have automations.

You could use a formula field to test if a record is checked, and if the last modified time of the checkbox was three months ago. Then the formula field can trigger an automation that unchecks the box.

Another option is to have an automation that creates a new unchecked record with a due date three months in the future whenever you select the checkbox.
