Will Automations only work if user is logged into Airtable?

If a base has a date based Automation trigger to send an email, does that base need to be open and logged into in order for the action (i.e. email) to fire? I don’t necessarily plan on logging into Airtable everyday, but I’d like to receive the reminder emails when I don’t. Thanks.

It makes sense that the automations work regardless of users activity. Try it though…

Yes, that’s the idea of automations–you don’t have to be logged in for the actions to take place. They run automatically.
