I suspect this is simply Airtable missing the opportunity to support all comms protocols. They probably need to be educated why this is needed.

Since 2019 when people like @Jason and @Kasra came on board, pretty good actually. They’re watching and listening. I can’t speak to their roadmap for supporting stuff like the SMS protocol, but as I recall, they were very responsive concerning tel://.
