Editable fields in Interface Header

We're trying to increase adoption of using our interfaces to update project status - it would be great if we could have our status field anchored in the interface header and be editable!

Even having it in the first section isn't working for the team - they need it in their face 🙂

We could use this on many of our interface pages too. Some basic fields at least, like select fields and checkboxes would be huge.
