Interface Editor can not create new records

I have a collaborator on an interface with editor permissions. He can not create a new record (get's a message he does not have permission). Editors should be able to create records. What could be the issue?

Have you checked the table permissions to see if there are limitations on who can create records in that particular table?

Hi @kuovonne 

"Editors and up" for the table. On the actual list from which he wants to create the record "Allow users to add records" is enabled.

He can see the form for the new record, fill it out, but at the bottom there is a red altert that he does not have the necessary permission and the create button is disabled.
