I’m using a Kanban view. When opening one of the records, I open a linked record from another table. How to I control which fields of that related record are shown vs hidden? It seems random.

Welcome to the community!
It pulls from your very first view, as it is listed in the view ordering of the other table.
It also puts the fields in the same order as the fields appear on that very first view.
You can change both the view ordering & field ordering in that other table.
