Automatic TRIM function

So many people using their smart phones are using the autofill feature, which usually adds an extra space on the end.
I would love if
(1) That could be an option on FORMS
(2) to each field and
(3) a TRIM ALL feature that trims everything.
While I understand I can make a script or automation, it’s such a common reoccurrence it would be very helpful if it was baked in.

This is causing many of my automations to break, since I can't match user-inputted strings reliably in conditions.

It also looks like I can't use the "update record" action to apply a TRIM function to a field, which is another frustration.
